How the week works

All quarterfinals and semifinals use Pinnacle Bank Arena’s North and South courts. Friday, Nov. 6 brings the semifinals in every class; Saturday’s six championship matches are at Devaney Sports Center. The official schedule runs from D1’s 9 a.m. title match to B’s 7 p.m. championship. C1, C2, D1 and D2 also have listed third-place matches at Lincoln Northwest. Classes A and B do not have a third-place match on the posted schedule.

State seeds use the final NSAA field, while the records and wildcard averages attached to them describe the published seed list. Older polls and Oct. 20 standings elsewhere on the site retain their own reporting cutoffs. Do not read those older editions as a new state seed order. The class previews keep each opponent, court and time linked to its own Game Center, and later-round places remain unassigned until a reported result identifies the advancing team.

Follow the results, not a prediction

The volleyball scoreboard and class brackets display reported final match results. The automatic state-results feed checks MaxPreps every five minutes during its tournament operating window; it is not a live, point-by-point or set-by-set feed. An unplayed match has no assumed score, and no team advances because it has a better seed or record. NSAA’s bracket remains the official record. Individual set scores and player statistics appear only when a matching report supplies them.

Use the state tournament fan guide for venue, attendance and viewing information. First-round and semifinal matches are at Pinnacle Bank Arena, championships are at Devaney Sports Center, and the listed third-place matches for C1, C2, D1 and D2 are at Lincoln Northwest. Do not assume ticket or streaming access from a previous season. All match times in this preview are Central.
