Omaha Westside has reached the final week of the regular season without a close result on its record. The Warriors are 8-0, have scored 409 points and have won each game by at least three touchdowns. Friday at Millard South offers the clearest chance yet to learn what that dominance means against another unbeaten contender.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Central on Oct. 23 at Millard South. Westside is No. 1 in the Oct. 18 Hurrdat Sports coaches poll, ahead of the No. 2 Patriots. The poll order differs from the latest stored NSAA wildcard order, which places Millard South first and Westside second. Neither list should be described as the official playoff bracket.

NSAA final scores; MaxPreps individual game boxes checked Oct. 20, 2026. Different opponents, not schedule-adjusted. This is a dated reporting snapshot, not a live feed.

The eight-game scoring picture

Westside's 409 points scored and 92 allowed produce averages of 51.1 and 11.5 per game, calculated from eight NSAA-sourced finals. Its smallest winning margin was 21 points in a 35-14 victory over Lee's Summit High. Its latest win was 49-7 at Papillion-La Vista South on Oct. 16, following a 63-0 shutout of Norfolk.

The Warriors also shut out Omaha Central 62-0. Those results describe the completed schedule, not a projected score against Millard South. The Patriots have scored 399 points themselves, and a lack of common opponents prevents a simple shared-opponent comparison. Lee's Summit High and the Lee's Summit North team Millard South played are different schools.

Eight game boxes behind Warren's totals

Our Oct. 20 check of Westside's eight individual MaxPreps game boxes credits Braylen Warren with 86 completions on 135 attempts, 1,522 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns. His reported rushing lines add 493 yards and four touchdowns. That is a 63.7% completion rate, rounded to one decimal, calculated from the reported attempts rather than inferred from a leaders-page update timestamp.

The rushing lines labeled T. Jenkins total 1,193 yards and 23 touchdowns across eight game reports, plus 243 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. We retain the box-score abbreviation here rather than expanding an athlete's identity from initials alone. These are reported MaxPreps individual statistics; the team final scores in this breakdown come from NSAA.

The challenge changes if the game stays tight

Millard South has already won two games by two points or fewer. Westside has not had a final margin inside 21 points. That contrast does not make the Warriors unprepared for pressure; a final score cannot tell us how every possession unfolded. It does give Friday a useful question: what happens if neither offense creates early separation?

Westside's first task is to keep its options open. A running threat matters most when a defense cannot treat every snap as the same problem. The matchup to watch is how Millard South balances attention to the backfield with its pass coverage. We have not assigned a coverage scheme or claimed a game plan either staff has announced.

The other side is just as important. Millard South has scored 187 points over its last three games, and its quarterback comes off a productive outing against Lincoln East. Westside's low points-allowed average is a strong result from the schedule so far, not evidence that a specific receiver or quarterback will be held below a given number.
