HASTINGS, Neb. — No. 8 Yutan/Mead eliminated No. 5 DC West 2-1 in Class C Game 7 on Friday at the Bill Smith Softball Complex. Yutan/Mead, which entered the tournament 22-7, beat Ashland-Greenwood 16-10 later Friday to stay alive. DC West entered 20-9.
